● Our Story
Who was Pearl Fincher?
Pearl Lilley Fincher was a true Texas original—bold, generous, and full of heart. Born in 1935 in Evergreen and rooted in Spring, Texas, she believed in lifting others up and living with purpose.
A mother to many—six children, three stepchildren, and two “not-by-birth” kids—Pearl taught everyone around her to lead, give back, and dream big. Her favorite motto: “To whom much is given, much is required.”
From the American Heart Association to The Centrum Arts and the museum that proudly bears her name, Pearl poured her energy into the causes she loved. One of her proudest moments? Watching her daughter, Patricia Harless, sworn in as a Texas State Representative—proof that service truly runs in the family.
